Mary is our back-up emergency Doula. Mary has been through multiple pregnancies including pre-term pregnancies. She has many births under her belt as a birthing coach (including ours!). She has years of experience in mental health and grief support. She is a wonderfully caring soul who will be there when it matters most. If we are unable to attend your Birth or Death Vigil due to our own personal emergency this is likely who will be by your side.
Jess is the co-founder of Full Circle Doulas. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business and worked diligently to ensure our company was set up for success. They have a long history working in hospice care. Their spirituality places great importance on death care. Going through difficult pre and post-natal experiences inspired them to become a birth and postpartum doula as well. They focus on networking, serving on the committee for state doula certifications, and working full time in addiction treatment.
As friends of over 15 years we have seen the trials of life together, we have grown closer as LGBTQ+ oriented women, we have taken many classes together, volunteered for our non-profit organization together, became Mom's together, and finally we have become business owners together. We have seen loved ones through birth and postpartum as well as hospice care prior to becoming doulas ourselves. It is our passion to provide support to new families whether that means you are adding a person or taking one away. Your family will always feel different after a birth or a death. It has been a great realization in our lives how valuable support can be. We hope to help every family we can touch with life's great ebb and flow.
